Campus Night Out, LLC
Campus Night Out, LLC is a promotional company based in Philadelphia that creates and promotes events and concerts in and around the Philadelphia area specifically for college students. I started working with Campus Night Out during my freshman year at Temple University as an intern. My responsibilities included making use of social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to promote and share the concerts, network with fans and potential customers to increase brand awareness for the company and manage door ticket sales.
In March of 2012, after a year of being an intern I was promoted to Campus Ambassador. I was still responsible for my previous activities but now I had more influence with the company as to when, where, and with whom we would hold our concerts. I also expanded my network by marketing to students at LaSalle University, Drexel University, Villanova University, and the University of Pennsylvania. I was also able to deal directly with artist relations, I was responsible for the transportation of the artists to and from the venue and made sure that leading up to and during the event they had everything that they required to perform.
Just recently I was promoted to Brand Manager. This entails leading a group of 10 students to
implement buzz and guerilla marketing tactics to increase the awareness for Campus Night Out and for our upcoming events around the Philadelphia college campuses and within the city itself. I also collaborate with the CEO and President to identify new talent for prospective shows.
