My name is Emily Gindele.  I am from Bensalem, Pennsylvania, a suburb located 40 minutes outside of Philadelphia.  I am the youngest of three siblings.  Before Temple, I was a student at La Salle University, and graduated from Nazareth Academy High School, which are both located in Philadelphia, PA.

I am a second semester sophomore majoring in Management Information Systems.  This past summer, I interned for the Global Operations Department at an engineering firm, PEI Genesis. I am set to graduate in May 2021.  As a sophomore, I am looking forward to learning more about Management Information Systems and what challenges it has to offer.

In my past three semesters, I have learned many skills in all of my classes.  At La Salle University, I was a Computer Science major.  My course schedule under that major included database management and programming classes.  In my classes at Temple University, I am taking classes where I am learning advanced excel skills, and information technology.

I am interested in industries where I can gain real world experience in information systems.  Helping others is a passion of mine that I would like to bring into my future career.  Volunteering has always been a huge part of my life.  My favorite place to volunteer at is Philabundance.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, exploring the city and trying new foods.

Please look at my resume to learn more about myself and email me at emilygindele@temple.edu if you have any further questions.  Thank you for visiting my e-portfolio!
