2024 Nationwide Virtual Career Fair with American Public University and Rasmussen University
This career fair was sponsored by American Public University and Rasmussen University. I was an attendee at this virtual career fair, using text chats and direct messaging at different booths of federal employers across the nation. I learned a lot about the processes that go into applying for and obtaining a federal position, inquiring specifically about cybersecurity and IT positions. The hiring managers gave me a lot of insight in these fields; such as how to improve my technical and professional skills and which skills I should focus on developing. Overall, this was a very insightful experience and I learned a lot about the hiring processes of federal positions and what they look for in recent college graduates.
