MySQL for Non-Programmers

In our data and analytics course MIS 2502, we started installing and using MySQL workbench. Prior to this I never had experience with SQL or my SQL workbench. After watching this course, I have a good understanding of the core fundamentals behind SQL and MySQL workbench and other similar software like Microsoft Azure SQL, and Amazon relational database service. I learned how to distinguish and create a database and build tables by coding SQL into the editor. I added attributes to the tables, selected their values such as VARCHAR, TIMEDATE, INT and designated primary keys as well as constraints to the fields. I got the opportunity to learn how to work with queries and learned how to select, and narrow down columns and use the WHERE function within a query to sort the rows. This course was very useful and great for a beginner. It really brought me up to speed with SQL and MySQL workbench and it has already helped me with my professional development and my MIS 2502 course.
