Reflecting on the “Foundations of DevOps” LinkedIn Learning course, I’ve been able to deepen my understanding of how DevOps functions not just as a set of practices but as a culture that fosters collaboration between development and operations teams. The course highlighted the critical role of automation in speeding up processes and improving the accuracy of deployments, underscoring the importance of continuous integration and continuous delivery in today’s fast-paced IT environments. These principles, which aim to enhance both the speed and the reliability of software and services delivered to users, resonate with my aspirations as a MIS major, providing a strong foundation for driving operational efficiencies and fostering innovation in future roles.
