Digital Leader Fireside Chat: Connecting in the Hybrid Workplace
On March 17th, I attended a virtual webinar — IBIT Digital Leader Fireside Chat: Connecting in the Hybrid Workplace. Steve DeLuca, VP Workplace IT Experience at Comcast, spoke to us about his experience in a virtual workplace. He spoke about the different tactics Comcast is using to try and bring about the casual relationships and interactions that no longer occur due to the virtual work environment. The lack of personal connection via Zoom has been something I have noticed in all of my classes, so it is refreshing to see that companies are doing their best to try and combat the impersonal aspect of virtual meetings.
