Potential Career Paths for IT Auditors
I learned a lot from this webinar. Alan and his team discussed their roles as IT auditors at Chubb. They discussed their day-to-day tasks and different certifications you can get for IT auditing. Alan discussed his background in external auditing and compared it to internal auditing which I thought was very interesting because of the different experience and workload. I never really understood exactly what IT auditing was, but now I have a deeper understanding. This relates to my coursework because he talked about how it is beneficial to have some knowledge of coding and certain platforms, which is something I have discussed in my MIS coursework. This alligns with my career goals because consulting and auditing has always been something I am interested in and is definitely something I am going to look into pursuing.
