Community Service
Last Spring I volunteered with The Campaign for Working Families, where I filed tax returns for low-income clients using intake forms and computer software. During my time volunteering I learned how to intake, screen review, and close out tax returns in compliance with IRS code. I am planning on volunteering again this spring.
Highlight
I was awarded as one of three outstanding site volunteers. Also, a friend and I trained over 30 students on how to file tax returns so that they could volunteer at our site.
