This NCAE-CD/ITACS workshop featured Steve Pote, CISSP, Assistant Manager of Applications Security and Cybersecurity Operations at International SOS. The session explored emerging risks at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and governance.
Through demonstrations and discussion, participants examined how “AI persona drift” and adversarial prompting can bypass traditional controls, highlighting gaps in existing frameworks such as the OWASP LLM Top 10. The workshop emphasized the need for adaptive governance strategies and stronger AI usage policies in environments with unpredictable model behavior.
The event provided valuable insights for students in IT auditing, cybersecurity, and risk management, while also offering opportunities for engagement and networking. Refreshments were served.
