Centro – Webinar Miniseries – State of Education

- The webinar was hosted on an application called GoToMeeting and to join I registered and received an invitational link via email. The event was from 1:30PM-2:00PM.
- The webinar quantified the amount of students who are not able to learn in school; 80% of students are not able to attend educational institutions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I also learned of their Post Pandemic predictions which included: traditional learning will never be the same; innovative designs will be introduced through e-Learning and VR experiences, and new-level analytics will be required for the cultural shifts in the digitized learning environment as it requires more strict discipline.
- The subject of the webinar relates to my career goals as data analytics and innovative technologies will be in high demand post-pandemic, and this informs me to search for those jobs that will be relevant to my field and in high demand.
