Hobbies and Interests
My greatest hobby would have to be reading. An avid reader of all genres, styles, and subject matters, my favorite authors include Kurt Vonnegut, Isaac Asimov, Philip K. Dick, Allen Ginsberg, John Grisham, and many more. I tend to agree withe Oscar Wilde when he said: “It is what you read when you don’t have to that determines what you will be when you can’t help it.”
Other than literature, my biggest interest would have to be sports. An avid New York Jets and New York Mets fan, I continue on the tradition of my Long Island roots in watching my teams lose year after year. I occasionally write opinion pieces for a friend’s sports blog during the football and baseball season on the important social and economic issues that surround professional sports.
