ABOUT MY ACADEMICS
Courses I have taken at Temple University so far are Cost Accounting, Business Society and Ethics, Financial Management, and Operations Management. Courses that I am currently taking are Information Systems in Organizations, Legal Environment of Business, and Professional Development Strategies. My major is Management Information Systems. I chose this major because I thought it was really cool to utilize technology to eliminate redundancies and repetitive tasks, make processes more efficient, and help create innovative products and services for firms. I am looking forward to completing my Information Systems in Organizations course and taking Data Analytics in the summer because I am interested in learning how to manipulate data in order to gain insight on how to make intelligent business decisions. My favorite course this semester is my Information Systems in Organizations course because I thought many aspects of the course were interesting such as how efficeint and effective CRM and SCM is necessary in order to stay competitive in business, how enterprise systems connect internal and external users so they have timely and relevant information, and how portals such as intranets and extranets have helped firms function more efficiently in business whether it is business-to-consumer, business-to-busines, or business-to-employee commerce or communication.
