Despite me having experience in the restaurant industry and party place, one thing that was a definite takeaway from these places was it helped enhanced my communication with other people. One thing that was a definte thing I had to deal with in this jobs was to communicate with customers, doing so helped me not only gain confidence but also find different ways on handling situations and what to say to certain aspects of that situation. How this could relate to my career is that when dealing with clients and/or your employers, you need to have a firm and strong communication skill and that also includes being able to figure out what to say/ask in those situations. Doing so could help me and my employers on what is being requested and what is needed at the end which is similar to what I had to do at my part-time job.
