HealthCom Media Internship

I spent the first half of Summer 2014 interning at HealthCom Media at Doylestown. HealthCom Media is a content development and management firm that publishes clinical journals like American Nurse Today for the American Nurses Association. One of the projects I worked on at HealthCom Media was the UX redesign of americannursetoday.com as the site was migrated to WordPress.

Urban Apps + Maps Studios

I spent the second half of Summer 2014 mentoring interns from the Temple University bITS (Building Information Technology Skills) program. I worked with other mentors to expose high school students to software/programming languages like EPIC, IDX, PowerPoint, GIMP, HTML, PHP, Ruby.etc. We helped the interns work as consultants at a clinic in the Temple University Health System. The interns were taught to use design, spacial and computational thinking to help with a workflow redesign project at the clinic.
