This page consists of the MIS related courses that I have taken and how they relate to my career interests and preparation:

  • MIS 2101 (Information Systems in Organizations)
    • Overview of information systems and work with business applications such as decision support systems and on-line transaction processing systems. I also gained some experience in the SAP program which many organizations utilize today.
  •  MIS 2502 (Data Analytics)
    • Gained the ability to analyze, edit, and find data using SQL. I also gained knowledge of the key components of an organizations’ information infrastructure.
  • MIS 3501 (Data-Centric Application Development)
    • Learned how to write code in PHP and HTML which is used in web development.
