Work Experience
My very first job was when I was 16 years old and I worked at Cold Stone Creamery in Flourtown, PA. My experience there was simply serving ice cream and customer service and also working on the register. I would have to scoop the ice cream that the customer wants and usually mix different types of candies with it. I learn a lot at Cold Stone because it was my very first job, I learn how important it was to be on time and how having good customer service matters.
During high school I started working at Tequila Joes which is a Mexican Restaurant with a bar. This job was by far my favorite job that I had because I worked with two of my friends here. I started as a bus boy than got promoted to a server. The experience I had on Cinco de Mayo was a unique experience because it was busy due to a Mexican holiday. I learned how to communicate with my staff members and help out others if I had any free time. Being able to work as a team during busy day is very helpful because sometimes if you are not working as a team, you can easily fall behind.
During College, I worked at Primo Hoagies in Dresher, PA. At this job I learn a lot since this was my longest job of all three. I has to prepare meat for sandwiches, sides, customer service, work the registry, and also clean dishes. At this job there wasn’t a steady position, each night is different so eventually you would have all the position learned. Communication was so important in this job because usually we are short handed so we learn to work at a fast pace compare to other Primo Hoagies. With our steady high sales and hard working, we ended up with the best Hoagie award in Montgomery County in 2012.
As a side job, I started my own YouTube channel at the beginning of college, I post highlights of video games and myself playing all sorts of different games. YouTube gave me an experience that all other jobs I had. I learned to be independents because I wasn’t with any one else but myself. I learned that working hard pays off in the end because now I am being paid by one of the top 10 multimedia company (BBTV-BroadBand TV).
BroadbandTV is a Tech-Media company, they connect our partners and advertisers to an untapped ecosystem that fosters growth, community, and a new source of revenue. Heres a link of BroadbandTV’s LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/company/broadbandtv-corp). What I do in this company is edit videos and improve YouTube’s trafficking by using Analytic. They provide ads to put on videos to advertise, in return I will be paid by the ads that goes into the videos that I edit and upload.
