I utilized the skills I learned in Web Application Development, User Experience, and Web Service Programming to build a website from scratch. I aspire to become a data engineer or a cloud engineer, roles that might involve situations where I will have to collaborate with another team member to propose or create something. This experience allowed me to enhance my hands-on programming skills by building a website in a short period of time. I learned that it is important to settle on a bootstrap library from the beginning to ensure that when another person and I code different pages, the pages would not be overwritten by another library or the formatting of the pages get messed up. I would not have noticed this if I had not attended this event before. Communication is also absolutely key to ensuring the project moves in a good direction.
