I worked on a project at Allied Universal to migrate the remaining Windows 7 machines to Windows 10. I had to back up the users data remotely and take note of any software that was utilized outside of the standard image. I was often on Active Directory gathering information and I had to determine whether the PC should be re-imaged or if we should send a new PC to the user. I would take plenty of notes within the ticketing system and also had to re-image machines. It required excellent time management, communication, and technical skills.
Temple courses provided me with a strong understanding of the Windows operating system through a class that utilized Azure. I am glad I was able to explore Azure at Temple and learn about creating a server and managing it. It helped me understand the basics of active directory and it gave me an interest to learn more about operating systems. I use this knowledge every day and I am excited to attain a new Microsoft certification shortly.
