Sit Down Lunch with the MIS Advisory Board
Last semester, I had the opportunity to sit down with a few members of the MIS advisory board and talk about how they got to where they are in their careers and lessons they have learned on the way. This meeting opened up my eyes a lot to the many different career paths one can take with an MIS degree and the different places it can take you. I also got to pick their brains on what they thought of MIS majors coming out of the program and what they would be looking for in a future employee. I think this sit down lunch was incredibly worthwhile and I’m glad I had the chance to go.
