Marketing Internship at Muhlenhaupt and Co
In July 2015, I began working interning at a small marketing agency in Conshohocken, PA . This internship has been an exciting position that has both complemented and reinforced my teachings in the MIS program.
Here are some of the things I worked on:
- Website development using WordPress. After strengthening my programming skills in 3502, I was ready to work on real projects for Muhlenhaupt and Co. For programming languages, I used PHP, CSS, HTML5 and SQL. I was also introduced to Github which is a command line based repository for storing databases and other files.
- Project Management – I was assigned to manage three clients during my third month. I was responsible to coordinating task completion, client communication, and other reporting metrics.
- I was responsible for researching and configuring several key pieces of software to be used in organization. This includes web servers, project management software, keyword tracking software, and more.
