During this event, I had the opportunity to collaborate and compete for awesome prizes by building software and hardware projects with the TU Dev Hackathon team. Also, it was a great to introduce myself to companies lies Apple, Google, L3, Microsoft and GitHub.
Leadership Challenge Program

Events – Seminars:
- Emerging Leaders Seminar;
During this seminar, I had the opportunity to explore the Five Principles of Leadership discussed in Kouzes and Posner’s Leadership Challenge. We spend three consecutive weeks identifying these principles by looking at current leaders in today’s global environment and reflecting on effective leadership of the past and present.
- Strengths Quest Seminar;
During this seminar, I had the opportunity to identify and develop each individual’s strengths through a 20-minute assessment. We met three consecutive weeks for two hours. The first session focused on understanding your strengths. The second session explored strengths to navigate groups and organizations. The third and final session centered on using strengths in career.
- Inclusive Leadership Conference 2015 ( ILC );
During this event, I had the opportunity to enhance my leadership knowledge and skills by exploring my personal leadership values, discussing the impact of identity on leadership and learning ways to lead inclusively. In addition, I had the opportunity to connect with my peers throughout Greater Philadelphia to share best practices in leading ethically and inclusively.
In brief, ILC 2015 helped me to take action and bring positive social change in the Philadelphia community and our greater world.
