I currently attend networking meetings and professional development workshops. During the Fall 2015 semester, I was a member of the AIS alumni grassroots committee. During the Fall 2016 semester, I was selected to be a Social Media Coordinator for AIS.
Business Honors Student Association
Dates Participated: Fall 2014-Present
The purpose of the Business Honors Student Association is to create a community within Fox School of Business’ Fox Honors program as well as develop its members’ professional skills. In addition to weekly professional development and networking events, the organization has service and social events that are often attended by alumni and corporate sponsors. As a member, I have connected with various companies and attended service events within the community.
Spanish Club
Dates Participated: Fall 2015-Present
As a double major in Spain, it is important that I have opportunities to practice my second language. During my semester in Spain I improved my foreign language skills immensely, but it is vital I continue practicing. I go to weekly meetings where I communicate with peers using Spanish, in addition to attending cultural events within Philadelphia. I also volunteer at service events involving Philadelphia’s Hispanic and Latinx community.
