Information Technology Assistant, Temple University Department of MIS, Philadelphia, PA
Currently I serve as an Information Technology Assistant in the department of Management Information Systems at Temple University. In this role, I work alongside a professor to provide supplemental instruction to a class of over 150 students in the Introduction to MIS class (MIS2101). I evaluate assignments against a rubric and respond to students’ questions via email, in addition to holding weekly office hours and providing one-on-one tutoring sessions to ensure students understand course concepts.

IT Architecture Intern, Highmark Health Solutions, Camp Hill, PA
During the summer of 2016, I was an intern at Highmark Health Solutions in the IT Health Back Office Architecture department. I worked with a team of IT Architects to provide application architecture support through solutioning and monitoring. I was also exposed to agile methodology, project management, application life cycle management, and knowledge of the rapidly changing field of health insurance and health care.
My projects included:
- IT architectural mapping and solution diagramming using Microsoft Visio
- Business-to-Business Information Security applications using software such as SQL Developer and Splunk
- Analyzing mainframe computing to create efficiencies with exposure to Endeavor and COBOL

Guest Services Host, Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Company, Hershey, PA
During my time at Hersheypark as a Guest Services Employee, my duties included assisting, answering questions for, and interacting with the guests of Hersheypark. As a customer service employee, I attended to guests at entertainment venues and various other points throughout the theme park. I most frequently assisted guests by giving directions, helping lost children, and providing assistance to guests with special needs. Additionally, I was trained to use crowd control tactics and was given autonomy to provide guests with solutions to their problems.

Food and Beverage Employee, Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Company, Hershey, PA
As a food and beverage employee, I prepared various ice cream products, worked a cash register, and interacted with guests. I was responsible for completing transactions and handling money, adhering to safety guidelines while cleaning and serving products, I also provided guests with facts such as ingredient information and directions. Teamwork and collaboration were key structural tenets of being a Hersheypark employee, and I learned how to contribute to a group effort in a professional environment.
