Student Support Consultant – Beasley Law School

As a student support consultant, I was primarily responsible for maintaining and updating the schedule for all technology support and A/V requests. I also provided support to law students and teachers on a daily basis with technology problems and questions. I dealt with interfacing with Windows and Mac machines to diagnose network problems, repair installations of legal documentation software, identifying potential malware, and performing other system utilities to resolve problems.

Over this past summer, into fall ’15, I helped the IT department make the decision to use the Meteor web development platform for an improved scheduling system. Before I left, I did some basic prototyping of the web app and data structures.
