Personal and Extracurricular projects

As a major in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management, I’ve recently engaged myself in several projects in digital and social entrepreneurship. Through these experiences, I have had much hands on learning experience in team management, creating sustainable venture designs, implementing design and programming features, and online financial markets.

GiveCoin.info, my primary project, is an offshoot version of virtual currencies like Bitcoin: essentially a decentralized value transfer network with various uses beyond value exchange. GiveCoin’s initiative is to freely distribute the supply to non-profit organizations from the start, in the form of a social contract. GiveCoin owners and ‘miners’ are incentivized to donate their shares to these charities… and organizations like SpareKey and bloodbanker.org, amongst others, have begun to accept GIVE as a form of donation.

Additionally, I’m a founding member of Habitat: a college-based social commerce application, which allows students to buy and sell goods and services in a ‘free, fair value market’ amongst each other with the increased safety of non-cash transfers, a rating system, and overall psuedoanonymity. We are currently in preliminary design and development stages, but have plans set to launch our service amongst Temple, Drexel, and UPenn in the following few months.
