Answers to common questions:
- Where can I go to learn more about SQL?
Answer: The w3schools tutorial is good: https://www.w3schools.com/mysql/ I would start there. I also like the LinkedInLearning video: “Learning SQL Programming” with Scott Simpson. Be careful though, both of those resources will contain more SQL commands than you will need in this class.
- Do I have to pay to used LinkedInLearning?
Answer: No. Your license cost is covered by the university. So, it is free for you to use with your Temple student login. See: https://linkedinlearning.temple.edu
- I am an MIS minor, do I need to worry about MIS PRO points?
Answer: No. Only MIS Majors must earn MIS PRO points.
- I am going to be late to class, or need to miss class, or need to leave early. Will I be penalized? Do I need to let you know?
Answer: If you need to miss class, leave early, arrive late, I won’t penalize you for it. You are, however, totally responsible for catching up on the material you missed while not in class. Consult with your friends, of the ITA. Do not expect me to repeat / reteach material you missed.
