Interests and Hobbies
When it comes to hobbies I am a big fan of music, ranging from classical to rock to rap music. I can always appreciate it as long as the work has a message and shows quality. I also taught myself guitar, and found out that I was practicing not only music, but also the ability to learn new concepts and think conceptually.
Sports, all kind of sports. I enjoy the competition part of it, I enjoy the combination of strategy and on the feet thinking and performance. I am originally from a country where soccer, locally called football, is a culture. I’ve developed a strong sense of team-play and counting on team members as well as the ability to incorporate personal objectives into the team objectives. Soccer, and collective sports in general, are a great opportunity to exercise leadership and learn how to motivate team members. On the individual sports, I am a big fan of fitness, it’s incredible the great deal of self motivation, discipline, and determination that are involved in achieving fitness goals. Sacrifice and results go hand in hand and the taste of success always keeps me coming back for more.
I also enjoy building relationships with people and being a leader in the community. Since I started at Temple I’ve joined many professional student associations that I found out to be a enhancer to my college career. I am aspiring to hold a leadership position inside of my SPO’s in the near future.
