Upcoming Full Time Position: Senior Technology Development Program Associate
I am happy to announce that I have accepted a job offer from Optum, the technology arm of UnitedHealth Group Inc. The program starts as a 13 month rotation between four five roles: System Analyst, Application Developer, Data Management Analyst, Project/Product Analyst, and Security Analyst. I will be starting as a system analyst and I excited to be exposed to to the other roles and be pushed to achieve my full potential.
I accepted this job because it is aligned with my personal values of not only leading a healthy life, but enabling others to to prosper better through giving them the tools to improve their health and wellbeing.
The first part of my rotation will focus on the following responsibilities:
Define requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements gathering, business process, use cases and standard analysis workflow.
Analyze business or functional requirements to deliver artifacts and prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
Use enterprise-wide requirements definition, management systems, methodologies and standards as required.
