Fulphil, Philadelphia, PA July 2018-August 2018
When I was working for Fulphil I was a general intern so I did work in a variety of fields. Some of my duties were to manage an email pipeline for contacting various institutions and potential sponsors, managing a database of possible sponsors and potential employees, conducting thematic research for case competitions held by Fulphil, and the development of Fulphil’s sponsorship program. While some of my work was outside of my field of study, learning how to do this type of work was very valuable to me as these general skills I sharpened have made me a more effective professional in a variety of workplaces.
ARI Fleet Intrasite Project, Temple University August 2018-December 2018
While I was a student in the MIS3506 course I gained some extremely valuable experience as a business analyst in the project in which we developed a prototype intrasite for ARI Fleet. In this project I gained some valuable experience using the Justinmind prototyping program as I built a psuedo-search engine as well as implemented some basic login authentication for our prototype intrasite. I also learned the importance of an effective user interface as the majority of the work for this prototype was developing a clean easy to navigate U.I.

As a student in the MIS3535 course I gained some valuable project management experience as my group was assigned to manage a team of business analysts doing a similar project that my team ddi in our MIS3506 course. As a project manager I was responsible for the development of the Work Breakdown Structure using Microsoft Project, which gave me a better understanding of the amount of time each part of a project will take and how to effectively allocate resources to ensure that the project milestones are completed on time.
