  1. Job function (e.g., overall role, assigned tasks)

Some of my duties were to conduct thematic research for Fulphil’s future case competitions, create and manage multiple pipelines for sending mail merges, and to conduct research for potential partners to co host events with. I was also given the opportunity to assist in the creation of Fulphil’s sponsorship package as well as the creation of an event timeline.

2. Examples of projects (e.g., list the projects you worked on and what you accomplished)

One of the projects that I worked on was setting up our mail merges for both our sponsors and our potential campus ambassador recruits. With the mail merge that I created I was able to send and manage emails from over 500 organizations and students.

What you learned and how it relates to your major (e.g., describe what you learned from this experience in the context of specific courses)

One of the things I learned was how to use Trello, which is a type of software that is used for workflow management, which is something that I’ve been learning how to do in my Digital Design and studios class. Trello specifically allows users to take create and assign tasks that are part of an overall project, and post documents that can be reviewed by all members associated with the project. Trello is also similar to a type of Software that I have been learning about in my Enterprise IT architecture class, which is Microsoft Sharepoint. Microsoft Sharepoint is similar to Trello in that they both allow users to easily share and edit documents as well as managing the overall workflow process. Another feature that both Sharepoint and Trello share is the ability for higher level employees to review and approve of the work done by lower level employees with ease.
