IT system Analyst Intern
As an IT Systems Analyst Intern at Global Village, a manufacturing company specializing in cosmetic paper packaging production, I worked closely with the factory’s IT and operations departments to enhance internal processes. My primary role involved participating in efforts to adopt an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to streamline production and inventory management.
During my internship, I contributed to key projects such as evaluating different ERP solutions, testing their compatibility with existing systems, and assisting in pilot implementations to track raw materials and manage inventory levels. This effort aimed to reduce inefficiencies and improve data accuracy across the supply chain.
Through this role, I developed practical skills in ERP systems analysis and integration, directly applying concepts from my MIS coursework, such as data and analytics and my minor in supply chain. This experience provided valuable insights into how ERP systems can transform and optimize manufacturing operations.
