Goals/Interests
What peaked my interest in data didn’t start in my MIS classes but rather my Quantitative Methods in Political Science class. I learned how to simple get statistical data from a survey database to either reject or fail to reject my hypothesis. After that I was having difficulty finding the right major that would fit my interests and passions.
Management Information Systems definitely bridged the gap between technology and business. It gives me the opportunity to explore two sides of the same coin. Particularly, I’m interested in learning and gaining more experience with data analysis. I aspire to utilize what I learned or will learn to contribute to the forever expanding information systems world.
