My Resume & Internship Now

This summer I began an in
ternship with The Safegard Group in Media, Pennsylvania. The Safegard Group is a full service insurance brokerage and risk management consulting firm. They offer technical expertise and superior customer service in a wide range of insurance coverage, working closely with insurance carriers to service clients in need of commercial lines insurance, personal insurance, and employee benefit programs. I have gained incredible knowledge over the past couple of months—and I could not be happier with my internship! I’ve done everything from attending client renewal meetings to further developing Safegard’s online presence. I’ve also helped my co-workers prepare coverage summaries, loss summaries, and update insurance policies with their internal database. That internal database, VertaFore’s AMS360, is what I’ve used to issue certificates of insurance, update addresses and equipment schedules, and log activities.
