IBIT Small Business and Non-Profit Digital Transformation
With the impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic displacing many small businesses without a web presence, I worked with the Institute for Business and Information Technology at Temple University to assist in digitizing businesses in need. I worked with my business mentor, Mr. Bruce Fadem, to build a site for Anderson Monarchs youth sports organization to continue their training and communication without being able to meet in person. We used Google Drive and Google Hangouts to keep information on a central server that all coaches could access, and built a client site for players and parents to view schedules, meetings, and updates. I learned how to work in consultation with clients and how technology can help others adapt to the changing world around us.
