Helping my Grandmother with Technology
In light of the current crisis, our family’s Passover seder was canceled. We decided to conduct the seder over zoom to maintain some sense of normalcy. In order to complete this, I assisted my Grandmother in setting up zoom on her computer, learning how to enter meetings and operate the zoom, and troubleshoot issues she had with her webcam and audio quality. Through this service, I learned a lot more about different features that zoom has, and I also vastly improved my communication skills and ability to explain how to do something remotely without access to my Grandmother’s computer only by listening to her explanation of the problem and without being able to actually see what the problems are.
