Our team of BA’s have done an exceptional job early on in the project for Somerville Lumber. All documents are up to date and are beginning to clearly define the solution (e-commerce site) we wish to provide Somerville Lumber. During the second interview with Mike Ellis, a middle manager at Somerville Lumber, we were able to make some significant insights into what exactly can and cannot be offered through the site. Mike expressed that, to the best of his knowledge, only about 50% of their inventory would be able to be sold via e-commerce. We also discovered that that Somerville Lumber is currently using an outdated inventory system, Powerterm. Discussion arise as to whether uodating this inventory system would cause scope creep. Other than this small issue, our team’s transparency with us has been extremely well.
