In my summer 2015 internship working as an analyst at Loyalty Insurance. Loyalty insurance is an independent broker that distributes life, car, business insurance from New York Life to various company. I was responsible for analyzing the claims turnover rate, and calculate how likely claims are to be made within the age groups. I was given the raw data from the claims information and I would input into an excel spreadsheet to sort the data. After sorting out the data, I used tableau to map out the claims and how severe claims are projected to be. These calculations have the business project where the clients would be valuable to accept or not.
