Association for Information Systems
Dates Participated: Fall 2015 – Present
AIS is a student professional organization designed to prepare motivated students for a career involving information systems. Through listening to guest speakers and attending workshops, students such as myself can network, learn professional development, and gain practical skills. Additionally, AIS members participate in the Technology Development Application Program. TDAP is a program within AIS designed to help students learn technical skills outside of the classroom.
I serve as the Director of Community Engagement for AIS. In this roll, I seek to enhance alumni relations to unlock opportunities for current AIS members. I maintain an alumni database, send out email updates to an alumni list serve, and organize alumni discussion panel events.
Business Honors Student Association

The Business Honors Student Association is a professional organization specifically for students who are a part of the Fox Honors Program at Temple University. At weekly networking and professional development events, business honors students of all disciplines are taught how to achieve success in the competitive post-grad job market.
I was a member of BHSA my freshman year, before I became heavily involved with AIS.
Grassroot Soccer
Dates participated: Fall 2014 – Present
Grassroot Soccer is an international nonprofit organization that promotes HIV/AIDS education and prevention using the world’s most popular game, soccer. The organization was founded in 2002 with the vision that soccer could serve as a vehicle for the discussion of a disease that impacts so many people around the world. Partnering with prominent charities such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Elton John AIDES foundation, the organization has been effective at spreading AIDES awareness throughout Africa and all other continents.
Temple University Grassroot Soccer is the first collegiate chapter of the international organization. As a member, I attend weekly meetings and assist in planning community events that are designed to spread AIDS awareness and education regarding prevention.
