Voicing Conviction: Keys to Persuading IT Risk Management Decision Makers
Attended “Voicing Conviction: Keys to Persuading IT Risk Management Decision Makers\” webinar Thursday 1/13, at 1:00PM ET.
Unsure how to provide confirmation other than that I was there and interacted (autism question).
I did not completely agree with the presentation as it seems to be based on legacy concepts about body language. While some people may benefit from being more aggressive than their natural tendency, doing so also risks pushing others away or generating an environment where people do not feel safe to give feedback. The presenter also pushed back on the question about those dealing with autism neurodivergency by saying that those that are neurodivergent should work through their support system on how to overcome their social struggles instead of educating others on how their actions could have a negative impact on others.
