Relevant Course Work
In my core classes I had the opportunity to work with SAP, MySQL, PHP and VMware.
One of my favorite classes, Enterprise IT Architecture, taught me how to research a specific technology and then communicate the benefits of that technology to someone else.
The method of practicing this useful skill is writing Flash Research Papers. The guidelines to this writing method was to give a short one page summary with an audience of high level management and persuade them to see the value in a certain technology.

In another class of mine, I learned the basics of CSS and HTML. With these as a building block, I then learned PHP code. While this class was challenging at times, it showed me all of the code that goes into a single web page.
Another class of mine that taught me a lot was Digital Design and Innovation. In this class I participated in a semester long project where my team worked with a client to help them solve a business problem. My team had to create a prototype of our solution and present it to the client at the end of the semester. I really enjoyed this class because it taught me how to work with different personalities and still achieve a common goal. Having to collaborate with other people, who were at times difficult to work with, helped my sharped my communication skills. This class showcased how difficult and rewarding working on a team can be.
