IBIT Mentorship Program
My favorite aspect of the mentorship program was having someone in the industry who you can talk to and ask questions regarding what you are interested in. I believe the program was very helpful with matching me with the right mentor who provided most of the answers to my questions and insecurities. My mentor was definitely matched to my needs. I was unsure of what I wanted to get out of my MIS degree, and my mentor provided many general answers of many of the fields in the industry. For our second meeting my mentor contacted a consultant to answer my questions regarding consulting. The mentorship program helped me to explore the different options and fields that are available after I finish my MIS degree. Overall, it gave me a big picture of where I can end up with my career.
