Changing of the Paradigms: Control Test Automation
The MIS Department sponsored an informational webinar on control test automation, which took place 2-3pm on June 3, 2020. The webinar featured professionals from Grant Thornton discussing their real-life experience in bringing automation monitoring to audit, risk, and compliance departments. They discussed the processes and methodology for implementing automation and the accompanying benefits and costs. Through this webinar, I learned valuable information regarding the thought process MIS professionals go through when considering and implementing automation processes in their respective departments. I look forward to utilizing the knowledge I learned about implementing new processes into a workspace into my future career field.
