Interests and Activities
Athletics: Throughout high school I was a member of the varsity girls volleyball team and still enjoy playing pick up games with friends. I also enjoy running and staying active in as many ways as possible. I was born and raised a Penn State fan and enjoy attending football games, wrestling matches and volleyball games.
Traveling: Traveling to new places and exploring new cities is very important to me. In 2009 I had the opportunity to spend 10 days in Dublin, Ireland and I am looking forward to spending the Fall 2014 semester studying abroad in Paris, France. Places on the top of my travel list include: Oman, Croatia, Greece, Israel, Bali, and South Africa.
Reading: I love a good book, and during the summer I am known for not putting down a book until I have finished! My library includes both fiction and non-fiction and I particularly enjoy reading books about history, religion and other countries and cultures. One of my favorite books is Balkan Ghosts. It offers first hand accounts of the turmoil religious and cultural differences can bring to a country.
