MIS 0855: Data Science
In this course, I have learned how to assess the quality of data sources, clean a dataset, leverage analytical and visualizing tools to identify patterns and meaningful insights to make data-driven decisions. After this, I have familiarized myself with using programs and applications such as Tableau, Excel, Piktochart to enhance my analysis.
MIS 2901: Honors Information Systems in Organizations
This course provides an understanding of core concepts of management information systems, emphasizes the importance of CRM and ERP systems, and presents different approaches to systems architecture. I also learn about conceptual diagramming and data modeling using swimlane, relational and entity relationship diagrams.
MSOM 3901: Honors Management Science/Operations Management
This course introduces the types of problems that operations managers need to solve and different decisions faced with when tackling these issues. Decisions involve production planning and scheduling, staffing and equipment allocation, inventory control, and facility location.
