- The competition takes place at Temple University. The executive summary was due on March 2nd, and the finalists’ presentations took place on April 4th. Our group won and got $1,300 in total.
- From this competition, I have learned a lot about the retail industry, specifically the changing aspects of the toy industry. I also gained considerable experience in conducting industry research and performing market analysis. This also allows me to work on my presentation skills, learning how to project myself professionally in front of other professionals.
- Greatly interested in a career in consulting, I think this is a great opportunity to gain a first glance into what challenges businesses might encounter, and what factors to take into considerations when forming the solutions to these problems. I also use the knowledge and skills gained from my finance and accounting classes to assess Target’s position within the industry and analyze the costs incurred after implementing our plan.
