Trivia Trainer Site

For this project, completed in MIS 2402, the expectation was for students to prove they understood APIs by utilizing one of their choice on a page they created. For my page, I chose to use an API that provides the user with trivia questions, organized by category and difficulty (found here), in order to create a site that tests users on their trivia ability. The site, while minimalist, utilized a great deal of the programming skills I learned in MIS 2402, most importantly HTTP Requests using jQuery, and was a crucial stepping stone to my future pursuits in utilizing, and even creating APIs. This experience helped prepare me for the considerable API usage in MIS 3502, as well as my work on a research project with AmerisourceBergen, where Professor Jeremy Shafer and I created our own API and the site for which it was built.
