Linkedin Learning- Learning Design Thinking: Lead Change in Your Organization

This course did a great job of emphasizing the importance of user-centric design. Design thinking is a user-centered way of solving problems. Through this course, I learned about the basics of design thinking and the process of making a design into a reality.

” Designers emphasize human empathy and understanding the needs and wants of the people who will use the product or service. “

This course highlighted the importance of change management in effectively tackling barriers to integrate the design mindset into an organization’s culture. Overall, my professor for MIS 3535, Courtney Minich, did a great job communicating the importance of agile and change management within any company. This course broadened my perspective on the importance of change management and how it can effectively motivate employees or be a company’s downfall if not properly implemented.
