Future Goals
At this point in my MIS career I have many aspirations. I’ve yet so much to learn that I only expect those aspirations to mold and re-mold until a solid foundation is in place.
In the long term, I am pursuing a career in Data Analysis. Big Data is the way of the future and I feel that my strict attention to detail can benefit any business in analyzing and putting into practice programs that enhance data and allow it to give its message. I intend to pursue the fields of healthcare, as it is what my experience lies in but am open to fields in entertainment and communications.
Short term goals and those that are much more achievable (I hope!) are to find an internship opportunity that allows me to work remotely. Even as an entry level employee, I can bring to the table a strict work ethic with the ability to work with minimal supervision. I learn best “on the fly” and “hands on”. Give me a task and I’ll exceed your expectations. I enjoy challenges, so working on projects that I can manage teams, expectations, deadlines, outcomes and results are of great interest to me. As for the specifics in field or industry, it’s very difficult to say. Though I have my interest as stated above, I simply refuse to shut doors. I’m open to try it all, whether it’s a success or a failure, it is the experience, the knowledge and the pursuit of excellence that I am after.
