Five Ways to Control Your Time

I watched the LinkedIn Learning course titled “Five Ways to Control Your Time”, narrated by Chris Croft, to learn professional skills. Through this course, I learned that the objective of time management is to maximize the time spent on important items, and how this could be improved is by writing those items down. This action would allow me to be more effective in committing to achieving my goals because it allows my subconscious to prioritize it. Croft explains Eisenhower’s four box matrix of important tasks, which consists of a Crisis, Hassle, Progress and (Un)necessary Evils category. These tips would be helpful when looking to balance time in furthering my skills, either personally or professionally, outside of work.
