“Interpersonal Communication” is a LinkedIn Learning course for professional communication skills. Some of the topics discussed were making requests effectively, managing expectations, and responding to critical feedback. When requesting favors from colleagues, Professor of Business Administration and published author Dorie Clark states to invest in favors for them first and express gratitude to how their efforts specifically helped you. Writing down talking points for meetings is one of the practices discussed in the course that I’ve found useful prior. I found the course helpful in learning interactive practices in a professional setting that can create more meaningful relationships.
